Cimarron City Council will meet as schedule on November 3rd, 2025 at 6:30 PM at City Hall (119 S Main St, Cimarron, KS). The agenda is available to view at https://5il.co/3ruus. As always, members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting.

We want to give a huge roll of thanks to everyone who shopped local and participated in our Toilet Paper Campaign! Your support helped us spread the word (and the humor!) about how every dollar spent locally strengthens our economy, supports our neighbors, and keeps Cimarron thriving.
From pledging to shop local, to joining in the fun events, to simply choosing a hometown business over a big-box store—you made a difference.
This campaign may have been a little quirky, but the message is serious: Shopping local isn’t just convenient—it’s powerful. It keeps jobs here, boosts community projects, and builds a stronger future for all of us.
Let’s keep the momentum rolling!

It’s not glamorous. It’s not exciting. But it’s essential — and it’s an easy way to make a big difference in Cimarron.
Every time you buy just one pack of toilet paper from a local store, you’re doing more than checking off your shopping list:
✅ You’re supporting local jobs.
✅ You’re keeping tax dollars in our community.
✅ You’re helping fund parks, events, and public services.
✅ You’re showing loyalty to the people who live and work right here.
Make it count.
Keep buying this one product — and others — locally.
It’s a small act with a huge ripple effect.

Every time you choose a Cimarron business, you're not just making a purchase — you're making a promise to your community.
You're keeping the spirit of Cimarron alive — one local purchase at a time.
Loyalty isn’t just a feeling. It’s an action.
Let’s show up for the people who show up for us.
Shop Local. Stay Loyal. Keep It Rolling, Cimarron.

When you buy just one pack of toilet paper from a local Cimarron store instead of a big-box chain, you're not just wiping away a need — you're creating a ripple effect that touches our whole town.
That purchase helps a local business stay open.
It supports a family who lives right here.
It helps fund local schools, parks, and roads through sales tax.
It keeps our community events going strong.
One roll. One choice. One ripple.

We’re wrapping up the Toilet Paper Shop Local Campaign on October 31st — and we need YOU to help us finish strong!
Shop Local.
Support Your Neighbors.
Boost Our Community.

Behind every local shop, café, and service is a neighbor who took a chance, worked hard, and poured their heart into making that dream real.
When you shop local, you’re not just buying a product — you’re supporting your friends, neighbors, and hometown dreamers.
Let’s keep those dreams growing right here at home. 💙

💙 You didn’t just shop — you showed up for your community. 💙
Every local purchase — big or small — helps keep our hometown thriving.
When you buy local, you’re helping support:
👧 Kids’ activities and school programs
🏡 Community events and improvements
🛍️ The small businesses that make Cimarron special
Thank you for choosing to spend where it matters most — right here at home.

Our Toilet Paper Campaign is almost complete — and it’s time to show the economic impact of choosing to buy local, even with everyday products like toilet paper!
Here’s how you can join in:
1️⃣ Snap a photo of yourself shopping local or buying your next pack of toilet paper.
2️⃣ Tag your favorite local business!
Every roll counts toward keeping our dollars local, supporting jobs, and strengthening our community. Let’s finish strong together! 💪🛍️

The pickleball court is officially painted and ready for play, and the next step is installing the fence to keep those wayward balls in check!
Thanks to a $15,000 grant from AARP and $5,000 from the Western Kansas Community Foundation, this project is becoming a reality for our citizens.
A huge shoutout to City of Cimarron employees who volunteered their time to paint the court and install the net. The City also covered the remaining costs to bring this amenity to life.
This is a win for active living, community connection, and fun in Cimarron!
