City Utility Bills

To set-up your City of Cimarron Utility bill please present a copy of your Driver’s License and a Social Security Number at 119 S. Main between the open hours Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is a non-refundable $150.00 connection fee.

The City of Cimarron meters are read on the 23rd of each month, and bills are taken to the Post Office on the last working day of every month.

Bills are due on the 20th of every month, unless the 20th falls on a weekend or a holiday, then bills are due the following working day the office is open.

After the 20th, all bills with a balance will have a 10% penalty applied and a Delinquent Notice will be sent with a disconnect date listed.

The amount due listed on the Delinquent Notice must be paid in full by 10:00 a.m. on the disconnect date or services will be disconnected and a $50 disconnect fee along with a $50 reconnect fee  in addition to the past due balance will be owed in full before services are restored.

A $3.00 pool charge (PL) will be applied to all electric bills. This charges means you and your immediate family do not have to pay daily admission to the City Pool when the pool is open for the season.
